The Linux Outlaws Community

Since we started the podcast over three years ago, an amazing community has grown around it that stretches over several sites and has gone way beyond being just a gathering of fans of the show.

Forums: forums.linuxoutlaws.com
The forums are undoubtedly the hub of the Linux Outlaws community. This is an incredibly friendly place with many great people eager to help and befriend anybody who wanders by. We sadly can’t spend as much time here ourselves as we used to, but we try to join in whenever we are able to.

Planet: planet.linuxoutlaws.com
Blogs from the community, for the community. Read what our listeners are currently up to. Subscribing to this is a great way to stay up to date on what is happening in the world of Linux Outlaws.

Status.net: identi.ca/group/linuxoutlaws
The podcast itself was started on a microblogging site like identi.ca and so it only makes sense that we are both very active on there these days. Many of our listeners have great conversations with us and among themselves on this service, mostly centred around the !linuxoutlaws group which makes it a good place to start if you are searching for like-minded people to chat with.

IRC: #linuxoutlaws on irc.freenode.net
If you want to talk to people from the community in real-time, this is the place to go. Our channel is moderately busy all around the clock but unsurprisingly becomes very crowded whenever a show is being recorded live.
